Terms of Service

Effective Date: 11 March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the BonApp! mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

“TastyBytes”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to TastyBytes Oy, a limited liability company registered in Finland, which operates the App.

2. Use of the App

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age.

Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account details up to date.

Prohibited Conduct

• Violating applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringing the intellectual property rights of others.
• Distributing harmful, malicious, or fraudulent software or content.

3. User Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of any content you submit, upload, or provide (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

Limited License to Provide the Service

By submitting User Content, you grant TastyBytes a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable, royalty-free license to store, process, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the App’s features.

This includes actions such as:

• generating personalized meal plans, nutrition information, or recommendations,
• syncing your data across devices,
• enabling sharing features you choose to use,
• maintaining backups and system integrity.

We do not sell, license, or commercially exploit your User Content outside of the App’s core functionality without your explicit permission.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

• is accurate and lawful,
• does not infringe third‑party rights,
• does not contain harmful, abusive, or prohibited material.

Right to Remove Content

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, legal requirements, or TastyBytes policies, including unlawful or harmful content.

Revoking Access / Deleting Content

You may delete your User Content at any time by deleting your account.

After deletion, we remove User Content from active systems except where retention is required for:

• legal compliance,
• fraud prevention,
• resolving disputes,
• enforcing our Terms.

Privacy and Data Use

Any personal data in User Content is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the App (excluding User Content) belong to TastyBytes or its licensors.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

BonApp! offers premium features via auto-renewing subscriptions. By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to pay the fees associated with that plan. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed through the official app store platform you used to download the App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). You acknowledge that your purchase is subject to the terms and conditions of these platforms. TastyBytes does not store, process, or have access to your credit card information or payment credentials.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes via the App or email. Changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following the price update.

Cancellation

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings (Apple ID or Google Play Store settings). If you cancel, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the current billing cycle, at which point your subscription will expire and not renew.

7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Right to Withdraw

If you purchase a paid subscription or digital service, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason.

How to Exercise Your Right

Email us at hello@tastybytes.io. If purchased via App Store or Google Play, you may use their refund systems.

Refunds

You will be refunded unless you began using premium features requiring immediate performance and acknowledged losing your withdrawal right.

Exceptions

• Digital content fully delivered with your prior consent,
• Services already fully used during the withdrawal period.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We are not liable for service interruptions or changes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if necessary to protect users, comply with laws, or address violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. EU consumers also retain mandatory consumer rights in their country of residence.

13. Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance

Reporting Illegal Content

You may report illegal content via hello@tastybytes.io.

Content Moderation

We may use automated tools to detect harmful content. Automated decisions are reviewed by humans.

Reasoned Statements

If we remove content or restrict your account, you will receive an explanation as required by the DSA.

14. GDPR Rights

As an EU user, you have the right to:

• access your personal data,
• correct inaccurate data,
• request deletion,
• restrict or object to processing,
• data portability,
• withdraw consent at any time.

15. Third‑Party Services

The App may use third‑party services such as analytics, hosting, or nutrition databases. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms.

16. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App. Outages or maintenance may occur.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TastyBytes regarding the App.
